全ての慢性疾患は不登校の原因となりうる。例えば、気管支喘息児の20%に学校不適応が認められるという報告もある。また起立性調節障害や起立性低血圧等の自律神経機能の失調状態は比較的頻度も高い。また見落とされがちな疾患としては、中枢神経系の悪性腫瘍や内分泌代謝疾患、膠原病があげられる。 (contributed by mkusakabe) |

不登校の中には、子どもが何らかの精神的な疾患を持っていることによる場合がある。このような場合には、先ず、不登校そのものよりもその原因となっている疾患を治療することが第1に必要である。

初期には「不登校」は「学校恐怖症」と呼ばれ個人の病理現象と捉えられていた。いじめや偏差値重視の教育が浸透するにつれ、学校に行くことに抵抗を示す子どもが増え「登校拒否」と呼ばれるようになった。その後、不登校には様々な背景があり、初めから決めつけることは適当でないということから「不登校」という一般的な呼び方になった。 See Details |
「不登校」は、子どもの側の対人恐怖症や集団に適応できないなどの個人要因と、いじめ、教師の体罰、難しい教科内容などの学校側の要因の組み合わせによっておこると考えられている。文部科学省が2016年に行った「児童生徒の問題行動・ 不登校等生徒指導上の諸課題に関する調査」でも、不登校の原因を本人の要因と学校・家庭の要因双方のマトリックスとして統計が採られている。つまり、ほとんどの不登校の要因には、本人要因と学校・家庭要因が重なり合って起こっているとの見方に立った分析となっている。 これはCCS調査でも同じで、学齢期までに起こるリスク要因を18以上採って調べている。ただ、文科省の調査と違う点は、リスク要因だけでなく「自信・信念」「親教育熱心」などの強み要因の効果も調べていることである。 (contributed by shiga) |

See Details | 不登校への対処は大きく2つに分類される。一つは不登校を受容し、登校刺激を与えず様子を見るという「支持的」な姿勢であり、もう一つは、積極的に登校刺激を与え、家族関係まで介入し操作するという「指示的」な姿勢である。指示的対応の対象となるのは、文部科学省の分類による「無気力型」「神経症型」の不登校である。 治療の流れは「筋を通した大人扱いのカウンセリング、自分の人生にとって得な目標を選ぶ洞察援助、登校再開を前提とした生活調整、環境調整、新しい適応姿勢の獲得からなる。 (contributed by ) |
